Reincarnation = Longterm to Short-term Rental
Although this duplex was fully functional, it was located in a transitional neighborhood and much in need of an update. We seized a tenant occupancy to convert it from a longterm to short-term rental. This entailed a fore mostly cosmetic renovation of the exterior, interior and back patio which included an all new kitchen, new bath, flooring, paint and furnishings. Basically everything from soup to nuts.

We will be participating in San Diego Green Homes Tour on Saturday, November 12th, from 10am to 3pm. We are so excited to share our experience with others and to get the word out that green building is great in so many ways!
Our latest custom project, a full renovation and remodel with additions, in Pacific Beach just received a Gold Level Certification with California’ Build It Green, GreenPoint Rated program.
In the last few years we had become very interested in taking our approach to sustainable building to the next level. We wanted to offer certified green building to our clients. However, it’s hard to profess all the features and benefits without directly experiencing the process. This house, originally built in 1971, gave us the perfect opportunity. It was begging for a thorough remodel and had the great location to warrant a significant upgrade. We purchased it, redesigned it with permits and renovated it in accordance to California building codes and Build it Green recommendations.
